Email copywriting services are a great way to market your business, event or promotion. People receive hundreds of emails per day, but using pro will allow people to hear your brand message above the din.
To get noticed, the emails you send out must catch the eye of your reader. This in turn will help sell more of your products or services.
Yet everyone receives so much spam in their inboxes that they delete most of the emails they receive without a second thought – they just don’t have the time for them.
In truth, there is no guaranteed way to make people read the marketing emails that you send out. But great copywriting will make it more likely. An intriguing subject line is often the key to getting people to open your emails.
If they only glance over your email for a few seconds, this can be the difference between a missed opportunity and making the sale…
You shouldn’t stop there. After all, you’ve grabbed their attention with a promise of something interesting. So avoid annoying potential customers with ‘clickbait’ subject lines that don’t follow through on their promises.
The first rule in writing marketing emails is to keep them short and concise. You must give the reader (and potential customer) everything they need to know in bite-sized chunks. This means making the content very easy to read.
Do this by avoiding long words as much as you can; this means never using a four-syllable word when a one-syllable word will do. You should also break up the content into short paragraphs with subheadings to make it more ‘scannable’.
This will allow your readers to skim over the email and get the gist in a short space of time.
The content of a marketing email has to be relevant to the person reading it. The product or service you offer may be perfect for the reader; yet your words need to show this.
With this in mind, you need to gain an understanding of your readers’ thoughts, needs and desires to make your content ring true for them and their lives.
